goldenfools:

but there were other things that lived in the woods,
evil things
, like stags and wolves
they could hear them howling in the night

And who are you, the proud lord said,
that I must bow so low?
Only a cat of a different coat,
that’s all the truth I know.
In a coat of gold or a coat of red,
a lion still has claws,
And mine are long and sharp, my lord,
as long and sharp as yours.
And so he spoke, and so he spoke,
that lord of Castamere,
But now the rains weep o’er his hall,
with no one there to hear.
Yes now the rains weep o’er his hall,
and not a soul to hear.

First Look: Civil War Prose Novel

Ready to experience the pivotal Marvel event Civil War in a whole new way?
On June 6 courtesy of writer Stuart Moore, “Civil War” arrives as a prose novel, and we’ve got an exclusive look at the prologue to the book. This will be the first in a series of all-new novels for all fans old and new, and will serve as an amazing entry point for the millions of fans who’ve only experienced the Marvel super heroes through the blockbuster films!
Take a look at the prologue, chapter one and chapter two before picking up “Civil War” for yourself on June 6!

This is pretty freakin’ amazing. I read way more Marvel fanfic than I read Marvel comics (except Runaways), because I’m more comfortable with novel formats than comicy ones… so this is amazing. Civil War is one of those events that I’m sorta mostly familiar with, but never took the time to read everything related to it because I wasn’t sure exactly how to go about it. So yeah, I’m pretty excite about this and am going to read the heck out of it.

I can’t decide if I want to put myself through all that emotional trauma again by reading this book.

Civil War was one of my favorite stories ever, so I will definitely be reading the hell out of this. Alone. In my room. Where no one can see me cry

DEFINITELY GONNA READ IT.
(I read Civil War so late in the game, i.e. like just a month ago, that I think it was entirely ineffective for me since I already knew everything pretty much turns out alright in the end. u_u one of the many cons of getting back into comics so late =/ not to say that it wasn’t an emotional experience, because it was. but not as much as it would have been had I read it as it was being released T_T)

Something to stack on the TO Be Read Eventually tower that builds steadily on my desk. And floor.

Only drawings I could spit out today.

Why haven’t I seen this yet?

(I want to say it’s not as good as the 2010 one, but I think that’s just cause that one had Inception in it.)

Brittle Starfish

This is literally like the worst animal in existence to me. I’ve fed snakes, had a class pet black widow, ridden an elephant, seen the terribleness that is a water bug; but this, horror.

why does it exist

like i don’t think it’s like, a bad thing, but … I never want to see one up close
